Dr. Chong-Chi Chiu graduated from College of Medicine of National Taiwan University of Taiwan in 1999. Now, he serves as an Associate Professor at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. His specialty and research interest is application of minimally invasive techniques in gastrointestinal, bariatric and oncologic patients. After having finished the surgical training in Department of Surgery of National Taiwan University Hospital, he has joined Chi Mei Medical Center in Taiwan as an attending general surgeon in 2005. Besides, he is also a Visiting Professor and Table Instructor of Asian Institute of Telesurgery (IRCAD Taiwan).
He has published about 100 papers on his research subjects. Moreover, he works as an editorial board member for several international medical journals. In recent years, he has also obtained the honor of Associate Professor of Ministry of Education of Taiwan.
