Dr. Patricia Denning is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University Medical School, United States. Dr. Denning earned her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed her Pediatric Residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and Boston University Medical School. She completed her clinical neonatology fellowship in Neonatology and gastroenterology research fellowship at Harvard Medical School. She is member in various international committees. She is an Editorial Board member and reviewer for international journals.
Dr. Patricia Denning’s current research focuses on the developmental regulation of intestinal innate immunity. They are specifically interested in bacterial-host interactions and how normal bacterial colonization may influence maturation of intestinal innate immune responses.
