Dr. Mingkuan Sun, Ph.D, is a Professor of Neurotoxicology at the School of Public Health, Nanjing Medical University, where he leads innovative research exploring the molecular, cellular, and neural circuit mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders (such as autism spectrum disorder) and neurodegenerative diseases (such as Alzheimer's disease). His work specifically focuses on how environmental factors (heavy metals, EDCs, persistent pollutants) interact with genetic factors to increase disease risk.
